We will be at Hounds Town dog daycare and boarding facility in Garden City on Sunday, August 30, from 11 am to 2 pm offering low-cost vaccinations and microchips for your pets. There will also be adoptable cats, kittens and dogs for you to meet, so please stop by to meet your possible new family member.
If you have a new pet who needs their vaccinations or your current pet needs an update, we’ll be there to help you out. (See the graphic for the cost of each type of vaccine.)
In case you’d like to microchip your pet, it’s only $35. (The price usually ranges from $50-$70 at a vet’s office.) Join us at the River Rescue Rally on Sunday, August 23 from Noon to 2:30 pm sponsored by radio station 94.9 The River. Our host is Idaho Pups & Ales dog park bar at 70 S. Outpost Lane in Meridian. (Please note this is a 21 and older event since it is at a bar.) If you are looking to add a new dog to your family and are open to a new and unique way of finding your perfect pooch, then look no further. Because The River is trying a new approach – dog “speed dating” so to speak.
We’ll pre-approve you to adopt or foster one of our wonderful dogs. And here’s the fun part – we’ll be bringing an assortment of dogs looking for their forever home and you get to meet ALL of them (one at a time – just like human speed dating) and decide if you’re a match. If you already have a dog, we recommend you bring it so we can see if they too are a perfect match (but it’s not required).
Human attendance is free, but if you’re bringing a dog friend there will be a $15 day fee and you need to bring proof of vaccinations for DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella. And if they’re a year or older they must be spayed or neutered.
To start the pre-approval process to attend, please fill out the form on The River’s website. Here’s the link: https://www.riverboise.com/event/river-rescue-rally-aug-23rd/
If you’d like more information about our adoption process, please see our adoption info page at: Adoption Process & Fees — Lake Lowell Animal Rescue
